New things the Grandbaby says now at 2 and 3/4 years of age (third birthday is now less than 3 months away).
- “Umm, I don’t think that’s going to work.”
- “I can do it.”
- “Nana, I love you.” (she says this all the time and of course it makes my day)
- “I don’t play with scissors. They’re danger. I play with toys.”
- When she’s asked what her name is…. “Niyah Princess”

So cute!! Isn’t it funny when they pick up an expression we say? Mine used to start sentences with, “Well actually…” haha. That’s the first time I realized I said it!! She’s more adorable with each passing month.

Actually is actually one of my favorite things kids say….it always surprised me when she started using and correctly correcting me with it. She is so funny. She does surprise me when she says something I realize that I say it all the time. Her first phrase was “oh man”….she still says it a lot. Nana says it a lot. This weekend she started with the 3 yo question asking….”what’s this?” – “what do you use a pumice stone for”……….oh geez. It’s started.
Ack – she can’t be almost three already! As adorable as she was as a baby, she is even cuter as a toddler!
